The courthouse building opens at 9:00am, and the courtrooms where magistrates hear matters generally begin at 9:30am. You should arrive early to find your courtroom and check the daily court list.
The most convenient parking is at Westpoint Shopping Centre, directly across Kildare Road from the court, which currently offers free parking for the first three hours on weekdays with hourly rates after that. There is also limited timed street parking in the surrounding streets.
Blacktown Local Court hears summary criminal offences, some indictable matters, traffic offences, apprehended violence order (AVO) applications, bail applications and sentencing.
